Find us at Building 31, Booth 21 at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, NY on October 19 + 20 for the NYS Sheep + Wool Festival. We’ll have all of our farm’s latest Yarns in Natural and Naturally Dyed colors - from our farm to your needles. We’ll have wool for spinning - beautiful naturally dyed roving and batts - and we’ll have our alpaca rugs, wool pelts, farm made soaps and more. Beautiful naturally dyed project bags sewn by Tannei Casey, whimsical prints from the farm on sturdy canvas products by Eric + Christopher, and some treats such as a book signing with Sonya Philip, Designer + Simply Shetland’s North American representative Gudrun Johnston, and Designer Catherine Clark of Brooklyn General. Tammy will be speaking at the Shepherd’s Talk with the Breed Barn as well as give a talk about raising Shetlands and Valais Blacknose sheep. And don’t forget to come and meet the sheep in the Breed Barn that Wing & A Prayer Farm will be bringing along to greet folks! Shetlands and Valais Blacknose will be representing our farm and representing their breed at this amazing and joyful celebration of sheep and wool! See you there!
