Join us for our Annual Open Farm at Wing & A Prayer Farm. We will be celebrating the fabulous fiber animals that graze our fields and the goodness that they bring to their community and the greater world. You’ll be able to shop from some amazing artists and farmers and farmer artists in our Maker Market. Miranda Richardson will be selling her beautiful block prints, Foxglove Farms will have their exquisite jewellery, photography and maple products, The Goat Project will have their soothing goat’s milk soaps, Golden Earth Designs will be dazzling us with an array of their pottery work from mugs to vases to bowls and more. Comfortcloth Weaving will have their beautiful handwoven towels, blankets and other perfect creations. RAE Textiles will have their indigo dyed and hand stitched wardrobe staples. Caer Luna Farms will have their amazing Icelandic wool fiber in all of its forms and other farm products. New to our Market will be Meadowfed Lamb and Preservation Project’s cider products, wool, lamb and chicken, onion and garlic braids and vegetables! Also, Brother Flax Toy Company will be here along with a very special guest, Gudrun Johnston, designer and North American distributor of Jamieson’s of Shetland Yarns

And of course, Wing & A Prayer Farm will have a booth of our wonderful wooly wonders’ natural dyed yarns and blankets, rugs and pillows and more.

Not only will our Maker Market be a fun attraction, but there’ll be homemade pie and a hot cider booth, pumpkin decorating and stick-pony making for the kids. The Presentation and Demo program will have an array to choose from such as Natural Dyeing, Fleece Talk, and Meet the Animals. Pony rides will be available for a limited time.

Admission is $5 for adults, parking is free. Your $5 admission goes toward one of the many raffle baskets that will be offered at the entrance tables, too.
