Learn how to Dye with Indigo with Tammy White of Wing & A Prayer Farm.

Your Summer Natural Dye Workshop includes a kit shipped in advance of virtual lessons that will be online gatherings on July 24 + 25 or August 21 + 22 from noon to 1 pm EST.

Tammy will teach you how to make your vat and also demonstrate how to create interesting patterns and designs with Shibori techniques.

In your kit you will find pre-reduced indigo crystals, thiox + soda ash, disposable gloves, a wooden stirring stick, and supplies for creating Shibori designs such as needles and threads, masking blocks, string and bands for tying, and silks, cottons and linens.

Tammy will also demonstrate fresh indigo dyeing and discuss growing and propagating your own indigo patch.
