Jade Miles, Author of ‘Futuresteading’, at Wing & A Prayer Farm

  • Wing & A Prayer Farm 983 Myers Road Shaftsbury, VT, 05262 United States (map)

Join us July 2 at Wing & A Prayer Farm for a Book SIgning/Pie + Ice Cream Reception when we host visiting Author Jade Miles. Jade will present and shares about her latest published book, ‘’Futuresteading’, on her US Book tour.  Jade is visiting from Black Barn Farm in Victoria, Australia where she and her family tend an orchard and regenerative nursery business, and are committed to bringing celebration and awe back to food literacy as a first step in building a localized fair food system.  Jade will sign copies of her book and folks are welcome to relax and enjoy an evening of conversation as well as a pie + ice cream dessert table on the barn lawn..

Futuresteading is a practical and inspirational guide to living in a way that values tomorrow:  a slower, simpler, steadier existence that is healthier for you, your home, and the environment.   This welcoming handbook begins by showing how futuresteading works in an accessible and practical explainer, before venturing through six seasonal chapters –Awakening, Alive, High Heat, Harvest, The Turning and Deep Chill—filled with inspiration for the garden, including making fences and wicking beds, along with 30+ rewarding recipes for slow, nourishing and easy meals.

Two ticket prices are offered: one includes your copy of Futuresteading which Jade will sign at the reception, the second is if you would like to pre-order additional Wing & A Prayer Farm’s famous pies to take home. If you are not able to attend in person but would like Jade to sign your copy, you can pay for a shipping option.
